Special Meeting Minutes.
November 18, 2024
On November 18, 2024, the Pickleball Club Board of Directors met in a special session with the following Board members present:
Trevor Thorne, Vice President. Mark Swygert, Secretary. Chris Prellwitz, Treasurer. Rob Dryden, Director of Player Development, Scott Moyer, Director of Events & Tournament; Leila Mirza, Admin/Communications.
Prior to November 18, 2024, Board members Beth Castle, Pickleball Club President, and Diana Ballato, Rotation Coordinator, submitted their resignation to the Board. Beth Castle’s term expires December 31, 2025. Diana Ballato’s term expires December 31, 2024.
Trevor Thorne called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.
Trevor Thorne made a motion to appoint Chris Prellwitz as President of the Pickleball Club until the first meeting of the Pickleball Board in 2025. Rob Dryden seconded the motion. The motion was accepted by a unanimous vote of approval.
The Board decided not to replace the Rotation Coordinator position on the Board.
Rob Dryden made a motion to appoint Wayne Long to the vacant one year Board position effective immediately and ending on December 31, 2025. Chris Prellwitz seconded the motion. Rob Dryden, Scott Moyer, Chris Prellwitz, and Mark Swygert voted for the motion. Trevor Thorne voted against the motion. The motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 8:34 pm.
