The 2025 Highlander is open to lads with self-rated skill levels of 2.5 to 4.0+. Sorry lassies, this event is for the lads only!
So, gentlemen, put on a kilt (encouraged but not required) and join the fun. This event is all about meeting new lads and having a friendly competition in a sport we all enjoy.
The Skinny:
You may register for the Competitive event only for $15, or the NON-Competitive event only for $15. You may also register for both and pay a total of $30 for both.
Play starts at 8:00 AM but plan to arrive early for court assignment. Set aside the day for this FUN event! We will play until the fun is done!

- Where: Wagner Courts
- Registration: Through CourtReserve, opens February 2nd and closes February 21st
- Cost - $15/Competitive Play; $15/Non-Competitive Play. Lunch is included (Options for gluten-free or vegetarian are available upon request. Email [email protected])
The Skinny:
- Morning-Competitive format
- Enter as a 2-person team event-enter with your favorite partner in your skill level. Both partners must register and pay the fee.
- Brackets will be adjusted to per skill levels, age, etc. to fill brackets.
- Competitive Round-Robin format, Players with the highest total points move to the semi-finals.
- The winners of each semi-final court move to the finals where they will compete for the top Gherkin!
- Medals awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
- Noon to 1 pm no play lunch and social hour-Highlander Parade of Costumes
- Afternoon-NON-Competitive cooperative games
- 3 on 3-yes! 3 people on each side of the court.
- Enter as an individual.
- Draw cards for ROTATING court assignment, ROTATING team partners and ROTATING opponents.
- NO scores kept.
- Come at noon to enjoy lunch and social hour.
