3.0 Clinics

In response to members' overwhelming interest in the Skills & Drills program, the Club will hold two 'clinics' for waitlisted 3.0 players to supplement Thursday's S&D sessions. The clinics will be very different from Skills & Drills, with fewer coaches offering individual lessons and constructive feedback to help players improve their game. 

 How this will work: 

1) Four Courts have been reserved for each clinic at Sage from 2 pm to 4 pm on 1/15 and 1/22. Each clinic will host 16 players.

2) On Thursday 1/9, sixteen (16) waitlisted players from that day's 3.0 Skills & Drills session will be randomly selected and invited to attend the clinic on 1/15.

3) On Thursday 1/16, sixteen (16) waitlisted players from that day's 3.0 Skills & Drills session will be randomly selected and invited to attend the clinic on 1/22.

4) Invited players will have 48 hours to respond to the invitation or forfeit their spot. 

5) To ensure fairness, the clinics will not be open for direct registration, waitlist or withdrawal (players will be registered or removed by Admin). Invited players should accept the invitation only if they are sure they can attend.

6) The clinics do not replace the S&D sessions - they supplement them. Players should still try to register for the S&D sessions. 

7) Random selection includes picking names from a hat, picking every 2nd or 3rd name on the waitlist, etc.

8) The clinics are just a test to determine their effectiveness. If successful, every effort will be made to schedule more, since not enough coaches are available to hold more S&D sessions.
