Thoughts on Social Distancing

Please adhere to social distancing best practices outlined below.
While the Pickleball club board are not experts on the COVID-19 virus, we have received many helpful suggestions for staying safe that we would like to pass along to those of you that choose to continue to play. Some of these may be obvious but certainly worth repeating.

- Keep your distance from others - 6 feet is recommended
- Don't shake hands, high five, or hug.
- Don't touch paddles - a verbal "good game" or "good shot" is good sportsmanship without the need to touch.
- Sanitize your hands thoroughly before and after the game.
- Bring your own ball(s). Sanitize your ball(s) before and after you play.
- Make sure you do not touch your face.
- Consider wearing a glove on your "serving" hand. This prevents you from directly touching the ball and reminds you not to touch your face with that hand. The other hand holds the paddle to remind you not to touch the ball with that hand. Wash that glove after you play!
- Spray bottles of disinfectant are located at gates. Please sanitize touch points when entering or exiting the courts.
- Don't forget to sanitize equipment - ball, glove, paddle every time you play.
- It is recommended that masks are worn when not playing
- Only residents are allowed to play at this time. No outside guests
