TOURNAMENT WINNERS
2024 Champion!
Congratulations to Howard Greenberg, who played last month in the second annual USVI PB tournament in St. Thomas. Howard won a gold medal with a player from California, Christine Nielsen, in the 60+ 3.5 division.
Howard also won a bronze medal with his son Evan (who lives on a sailboat in St. Thomas) in the 18-49, 3.5 division.
Over 100 players from the Islands, Puerto Rico and the USA participated in these events. There were certified professional referees and a training clinic for officials. Lots of fun, sun and parties too!

2023 Champions
Jay Windmon traveled to Bangkok, Thailand to play in the Skechers SIAM Pickleball Tournament. He won Bronze in the 60+ 4.5 Singles, playing against 11 international players, which included Singapore and Malaysia's #1 60+ Singles men's players.

Howard Greenberg played in the first St. Thomas Yacht Club Pickleball sanctioned and refereed tournament on November 17th and 18th in the US Virgin Islands, where 120 players from the USVI and many states participated. Results: 6-0 and a gold in the mixed with a woman from St. John in the 3.5 60+ division, and 7-1 and a silver with his son Evan (who lives in St. Thomas), in the 3.5 18–49-year-old division.
Jay Windmon competed in the 50+ MD 5.0 Open, where he and his partner from Atlanta, Georgia finished 4th out of a group of 11 teams. Just missing prize money by a point.
