January 10, 2022
A meeting of the Sun City Festival Pickleball Board members was held at the Senita Center in the Antelope Room on Jan 10, 2022 at 1 pm.
In Attendance:
Doug Gale : President
Cheryl Casey : Secretary
Diane Cleaver: Director of Player Development
Mark Comer: Treasurer
Brock Taylor: Communications
Katie Westermann: Communications
Meeting agenda: Finalize plans for the General Membership meeting on January 14th, 2022..
Bylaws vote: Each club member attending will be given a raffle ticket. Vote to be cast by placing the ticket in a Yes or No ballot box.- Diane will supply ballot boxes labeled yes and no.

- Diane will supply ballot boxes labeled yes and no.
- Board discussed options if a quorum is not met at the meeting. It was agreed that in that event an electronic vote (Survey Monkey) would be sent to all members. Cheryl moved that an electronic vote will be sent only if a quorum is not met at meeting. Mark seconded.
- Discussion was held on communication of meeting. Communications team to send out an announcement to members with details on meeting location and time.
- Club members will be directed to submit bylaw questions by January 13 at noon. Those questions will be addressed at the meeting.
- Board agreed to meet again the afternoon of Jan 13, before the annual meeting, to review any questions that are submitted and formulate answers as a board before the meeting.
Mark recommended that agenda for the meeting to flow as such:
1. Introduce the Board
2. Board to review questions and provide answers by individual board members.
3. Brief time for general comments
4. Club update by each member
3. Doug to explain voting
5. Vote
6. Results
