Special Planning Meeting Minutes.
January 26, 2024
The following were in attendance.
Beth Castle, President. Trevor Thorne, Vice President. Chris Prellwitz, Treasurer. Rob Dryden, Director at Large, Player Development. Scott Moyer, Director at Large, Events. Diana Ballato Director at Large, Rotations & Court Schedules. Leila Mirza, admin/communications.
Beth Castle called the meeting to order 1:10pm 1/26/24.
Goals: Discussion was had on the following items.

Goals: Discussion was had on the following items.
- Continue to build on improved club activities.
- Prepare capital purchases/projects for HOA & members approval.
- Continue to improve communications with members and HOA staff.
- Discuss Rotations. Open play, reserved courts, Skills & Drills, modules. APPL.
- Court cleaning.
- Beginner members coaching.
- Improved HOA relationships.
- Tournament Fees. The upcoming in-house tournament will have a base registration fee of $25.00, plus a $5.00 fee per event, plus an additional service fee of $5.00 per event for the first two events.
- Hen House & Highlander Tournaments will have a registration fee of $25.00, with lunch included.
- It is the club’s intent to earn some money each year to support the clubs’ activities and allow for capital purchases.
- Apparel Sales. A presentation by a potential supplier will be made to the board on 2.2.24.
- A fee will be charged to sponsors for our in-house tournament, the amount will be determined at an upcoming meeting while considering donations from sponsors etc.
- Rob Dryden reported that he has an issue with coach availability for Skills & Drills. S/D for 2.0. 2.5. 3.0 will stop after eight weeks in order to assign available coaches to higher level Skills & Drills.
