SUMMARY OF DECEMBER 10TH BOARD MEETING
The Board of Directors
- Skills Modules – first round a success with 91 people participating. New modules will be held January 8 through January 31 with a limit of 12 modules with 10 participants for a total of 120 participants, only if we get enough coaches. We need coaches!
- Nominations – enough nominations were received to meet by-law requirements for election of both President and Treasurer positions
- Expenditures – board approved the following expenditures and approximated costs
- Two tablets for sign-in desk ($340)
- HP laptop computer ($670)
- Rolling shelf for Pickleball Tutor ($60)
- Locking cabinet ($250)
- Medals for events ($475)
- Raffle gift cards (four $40 cards to Indigo Grille)
- Thank you cards ($100)
- Club annual meeting snacks ($50)
- Treasurer Report – Nov month end balance is $13,079. We pay tax on balance over $9,523. Year-end estimated balance is $9,650
- Dink-a-Thon/Mini Tournaments – Approximately 130 people participated. Mini tournaments tentatively scheduled for Thursdays at 2pm with 2.0/2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+ groupings
- Club Meeting – Topics to be discussed include the following
- Elections
- Financials
- In-house tournament
- Renewal of membership and filling out a new membership form
- Modules for Jan and Feb
- ITPTA skills assessment testing dates
- New play schedule as of January 1st
- Schedule –
- Beginning Jan 1st, Tuesday and Thursday ladders start at 12pm
- 3.5/4.0 rotation moves back to Monday at 1pm. Attendance needs to increase or rotation may be cancelled
- 3.0 rated play moves to Fridays and will split Sage complex with rated 3.5 group
- ITPTA Rating Sessions – January 17, February 11 and March 14
