Community Donation Drives
The Buckeye Fire Department is supporting the All Faith Community Services by supplying Thanksgiving dinners to less fortunate families (500-600). They are collecting turkeys and other food for the dinners. If you wish to help, donations may be dropped off on Thursday 11/16, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Debbie Andrews has kindly agreed to collect any donations at her house, located at 25929 W Taro Drive. If you choose to donate a turkey, please drop it off closer to 2:00 pm if possible, to help with freezer space, if possible. Thank you and happy Thanksgiving to you and your families.
Caring Neighbors is sponsoring the Salvation Army Angel Tree. To participate, stop by the Caring Neighbors office Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Choose one or more tags from the tree then shop at your favorite store or online. Gifts need to be dropped off at the Caring Neighbors office no later than 12/13/23. There is also a Salvation Army food donation box in the office if you want to donate some canned goods or dried food. Thank you.
